Creative Climate
Creative Climate is the new national peak body for arts and climate, established to support and connect the sector at a moment of cultural and environmental urgency. Tasked with expressing an organisation that sits at the intersection of arts, climate action and cultural leadership, the project needed to feel joyful, inclusive and carbon conscious while signalling credibility and care. The website was designed as an accessible, future-focused platform for advocacy, resources and climate-responsive tools, modelling low-carbon digital practice through a lightweight and considered build.
Mycelium-inspired, dithered imagery expressed interconnected systems while reducing visual carbon load, and a bold yet disciplined palette of yellow, bright pink, black and white brought clarity and optimism. Overlapping forms and a simplified architecture created a flexible system designed for longevity and ease of use. Launched at Fed Square, Creative Climate quickly established itself as a visible and credible leader in climate-conscious cultural work. The identity balances urgency with hope, demonstrating how thoughtful design can support collective action and long-term cultural change.
