We pay our respects to First Nations knowledge holders and recognise the unceded lands on which we live, work, and learn.

Layers of Blak

Bringing beauty to an ugly and brutal history, in Layers of Blak, First Nations designers present a collection of jewellery reflecting on their personal stories, layered with meaning – of healing, resilience, collaboration and empowerment. Presented by Koorie Heritage Trust.

A serif logotype, combined with soft and fluid organic blends and forms communicate the journey of identity, and the complexity of the group of artists and their practice. Using a natural palette in reference to the land and country. We built depth through layers and texture, speaking to the layers of self; layers of country; layers of the land; layers of blak.
